We all carry within us an inner child—the tender, innocent part of ourselves that remembers both joy and pain. This part of us holds our earliest experiences: laughter, play, creativity, and also the wounds of unmet needs, fears, and trauma. When ignored, the inner child often shows up in our adult lives as self-doubt, unhealthy relationship patterns, or the feeling that something is missing.
Inner Child Healing is the practice of reconnecting with this hidden part of ourselves with compassion, curiosity, and care. By listening to the voice of our inner child, we can begin to:

- Release emotional blocks rooted in childhood experiences
- Reclaim joy, playfulness, and creativity
- Build a foundation of self-acceptance and trust
At Wistful Wounds Awakening, we believe that healing the younger you is not about “fixing” the past, but about creating a new, nurturing relationship with yourself. Through guided exercises, shadow work practices, and compassionate coaching, you can learn to parent your inner child in the way you always needed—bringing safety, love, and wholeness into the present.
Healing begins when you give yourself permission to reconnect with the younger you. When you hold space for your child within, you also open space for transformation—living more authentically, joyfully, and free.
